First and foremost, I must state that Ms. Scales has been professional, courteous and has gone above and beyond her call of duty in assisting me with the Child Care Relief Fund program. When I initially signed up for the business coaching program, I had no idea what a wealth of information Mrs. Scales possessed and was more than willing to impart to me.
She set up an Excel program to help me financially manage my business, which has allowed me to get back on my feet during these difficult times. She has an empathetic ear and allows you to explain your thought, doubts, and fears/ concerns as an independent business owner.
She told me about TECPDS and the time-saving advantages of that program. Ms. Scales also explained in plain English the time-space formula and even designed a program for me to track where my extra daycare time was being utilized and, frankly, not being used wisely.
Ms. Scales notified me that the second round of the Child Care Relief Fund was approaching and what steps I needed to take to be prepared once the portal was opened. She went into depth as to what expenditures could be claimed and the necessary documentation I would need.
When I first spoke to Ms. Scales, I had a 1099 employee, and she guided me as to the benefits of allowing her to become a W2 employee.
I love that Ms. Scales made me accountable for all of the “action plans” we outlined in our telephone coaching sessions.
