This training equips early childhood educators with the knowledge and tools to implement safe sleep practices that protect

infants and reduce the risk of SIDS/SUIDS. Participants will learn current safety recommendations, how to create and

maintain sleep-friendly policies, and effective ways to communicate safe sleep guidelines with families. Through practical

examples and reflection, educators will gain confidence in fostering safe environments where every baby can rest securely

and thrive.

All trainings are designed to meet the Texas Minimum Standards for Child Care Regulations and are specifically

developed for Texas child care professionals. Each course has been approved by the Texas Early Childhood

Professional Development System (TECPDS) and meets Texas Child Care Regulation requirements for professional

training hours.
